The Excellence of Salaat-ut-Tasbeeh
There is tremendous reward for offering this Salah. The Noblest Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi Wasallam) said to his beloved uncle Sayyiduna Abbas (Radi Allahu Anhu), "O uncle! If possible offer Salat-ut-Tasbeeh once daily, and if this is not possible daily then offer it once every Friday, and if this is not possible then offer it once in each month, and if this is not possible then offer it once in the year, and if this is not possible then once in a lifetime."

The Method of Offering Salat-ut-Tasbeeh
» The way to offer this Salah is to firstly invoke Takbir-e-Tahrimah and then recite Sana followed by the following Tasbeeh 15 times:
سبحان الله والحمد لله ولا اله الا الله والله اكبر
» Then after reciting Ta'awwuz, Tasmiyah, Surah al-Fatiha and a Surah, before transition into Ruku’ invoke this Tasbeeh 10 times.
» Then perform Ruku’ and after reciting "Subhana Rabbiyal Azeem" 3 times, invoke the Tasbeeh 10 times and get up from Ruku’.
» Recite "Sami’Allahu li man Hamidah" and "Allahumma Rabbana wa laka al-Hamd" followed by invocation of the Tasbeeh 10 times whilst still standing.
» Then go into Sajdah, and after reciting "Subhana Rabbiyal Aa'la" 3 times, invoke the Tasbeeh 10 times.
» Get up from Sajdah and invoke the Tasbeeh 10 times whilst sitting in between the 2 Sajdahs.
» Then perform the second Sajdah, recite "Subhana Rabbiyal Aa'la" 3 times and then the Tasbeeh 10 times.
Perform 4 Rak’at [cycles] in this way and remember to invoke the Tasbeeh 15 times before reciting Surah al-Fatiha whilst standing, and 10 times in all other stages. In each Rak’at [cycle], the Tasbeeh will be invoked 75 times and in 4 Rak’at the number of iterations of the Tasbeeh will be 300. (Bahar-E-Shari’at, Part 4, Page 32)
Note: Those who have Qada Salah due on them should try their level best and focus on offering the Qada first.
